Germinator Huntsville Featured on WAFF48, an NBC-Affiliated Television Station in Alabama
November 05, 2020
Paul Orton, owner of Germinator Huntsville, was recently interviewed by WAFF 48, an NBC-affiliated television station in Huntsville, Alabama. In the news segment, Orton discusses his journey to resetting his career and opening a new business amid the pandemic. A member of the Madison County school system for years, the pandemic caused Orton to pivot his career, which led him to opening his Germinator franchise in August 2020.
Germinator has developed a patent-pending process that provides a new generation of microbial protection for residential and commercial establishments. The company's Genesis sanitizing and disinfecting solution harnesses the power of HOCl (hypochlorous acid) to kill a wide range of bacteria and viruses on hard, non-porous, environmental surfaces. It uses no harsh chemicals or fumes and is on the EPA N List of products determined to meet the criteria for use against SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. Following Genesis is Germinator's Shield solution, which is EPA-registered as effective against mold, mildew, algae and odor-causing bacteria. This application creates an invisible barrier that combats deterioration and discoloration and promotes freshness for up to three months. The company tests for ATP using a luminometer before and after service to detect light that can come from cellular activity. This measurement immediately tells us the level of clean on your surfaces.
Orton's mission is to help create clean and hygienic environments throughout the community and assist those most in need during this difficult time. He is focusing on schools and apartment complexes that help seniors.
"I want to serve people and help businesses and residences to have the most hygienic surfaces possible," said Orton.
